Introduction
The LHA7732 is a high-performance, single-chip analog-to-digital converter (ADC). It supports two operating modes to achieve an optimal balance between power consumption and resolution. A dual-channel multiplexer enables selection between external signal measurement and internal ADC test signals, with a mode that shorts the input circuit for internal noise testing. The fourth-order inherently stable modulator delivers excellent low-noise and linearity performance. The modulator output is filtered and decimated by an on-chip digital filter to produce ADC conversion results. The digital FIR filter supports data rates from 250 to 4kSPS. The SINC filter supports data rates up to 128kSPS. The high-pass filter (HPF) features a programmable corner frequency. On-chip gain and offset adjustment registers support system calibration. A sync input controls ADC conversion timing. A shutdown input places the ADC into shutdown mode. The LHA7732 is available in a compact 24-lead 5mm×4mm QFN package, rated for full operation over –40°C to +85°C, with a maximum operating temperature range of –50°C to +125°C.
