Introduction
The CD4060B is a 14-bit binary counter that integrates an oscillator driver module and a 14-bit binary counter module. The circuit allows the oscillator driver module to be configured as an RC oscillator or as a crystal oscillator driver via external circuitry. A RESET pin is provided to reset the counter value and control the on/off state of the oscillator module. When the RESET pin is driven high, the counter is reset (to 0000H) and the oscillator is disabled. All flip-flops in the counter are asynchronous edge-triggered. The counter state changes on the falling edge of ϕi (ϕo).
