Introduction
The 706P/R/S/T/J, 708R/S/T/J, 705/6/7/8, and 813L ICs are primarily used for monitoring power supply and battery voltages. A reset signal is generated when the supply voltage falls below 2.63V (706P/R, 708R), 2.93V (706S, 708S), 3.08V (706T, 708T), 4.00V (706J, 708J), 4.40V (706/708), or 4.65V (705/707, 813L). The 706P/R/S/T/J, 705/706, and 813L ICs feature a watchdog circuit with a 1.6-second reset delay timeout; leaving the WDI pin floating disables the watchdog timer. The 708R/S/T/J, 707/708 ICs provide both active-high and active-low reset outputs but have no watchdog function. The 706P is functionally identical to the 706R except that its reset output is active-high. The 813L is functionally identical to the 705 except that its reset output is active-high. A built-in 1.25V comparator is available for battery low-voltage monitoring. All ICs feature a manual reset input. Available packages include 8-pin DIP, SOP, and compact MSOP.
