Introduction
The LM13700 series contains two transconductance amplifiers, each with differential inputs and push-pull outputs. Both amplifiers share a common power supply but can operate independently. Input linearizing diodes reduce distortion and allow higher input voltages, improving SNR by 10dB at 0.5% THD. High-impedance buffers are incorporated to extend the amplifiers' dynamic response range; the output buffers operate independently of Iabc, making the LM13700 superior to the LM13600 in audio applications. The LM13700 is a dual differential-input transconductance operational amplifier with output buffers. Input linearizing diodes reduce distortion, output current is controlled by the bias port, and the output port is continuously protected against short-circuits to ground.
Features
- Transconductance gm adjustable over more than 10 decades
- Excellent gm linearity
