Introduction
The NSG27527 is a dual-channel, high-speed, low-side gate driver capable of effectively driving MOSFET and IGBT power switches. The NSG27527 can deliver high peak current pulses of up to 4A source and 4A sink to capacitive loads, and features rail-to-rail drive capability with a typical propagation delay as low as 20ns. In addition, this driver features matched internal propagation delays between the two channels, making it well-suited for applications with stringent timing requirements for dual gate driving, such as synchronous rectifiers. This also allows the two channels to be connected in parallel to effectively increase current drive capability, or to drive two switches connected in parallel using a single input signal. The input pin thresholds are based on CMOS logic levels, referenced to the VDD supply voltage, and together with wide-voltage hysteresis provide excellent noise immunity.
