The MFRC522B is a highly integrated contactless reader/writer IC operating at 13.56 MHz, supporting contactless reader/writer mode compliant with the ISO/IEC 14443 Type A protocol. It also provides a low-power external card detection function, making it well-suited for battery-powered reader/writer devices that require low-power operation and real-time handling of external cards entering the RF field at any moment. The MFRC522B features low voltage, low power consumption, and single-ended drive. It is ideal for contactless reader/writer applications requiring low power, low voltage, and low cost.
