Introduction
KP115 is an offline primary-side control PWM driver IC. It is primarily designed for single-stage AC-DC LED drivers with PFC control in the low-to-medium power range.
KP115 employs a digital PWM control scheme and primary-side current sensing technology, enabling low-cost LED driver designs with no external compensation and minimal external components, while achieving high power factor and excellent LED current regulation. In addition, the IC utilizes quasi-resonant switching technology for superior EMI performance and high system efficiency.
The IC supports flyback and buck-boost topologies, and is capable of flicker-free PWM dimming.
KP115 integrates comprehensive protection features, including input undervoltage lockout (UVLO), LED open-circuit and short-circuit protection, sense resistor short-circuit and open-circuit protection, overvoltage protection, and over-temperature protection.
