DFRobot SEN0296

This is a short-pin square flexible film pressure sensor with a side length of 40mm, capable of high-sensitivity pressure detection. The sensor is durable and designed to sense both static and dynamic pressure with high response speed. Its ability to record the intensity and frequency of force makes it widely applicable across various scenarios, such as pressure switches, bed monitoring systems, smart athletic footwear, and medical device systems. These sensors are also very easy to use.

The RP-C flexible pressure sensor is constructed from ultra-thin film with excellent mechanical properties, high-quality conductive materials, and a nano piezoresistive layer. The upper layer of the sensor consists of film and a piezoresistive layer, while the lower layer comprises film and a conductive circuit. These two layers are bonded together with double-sided tape. When external pressure is applied to the active area, the open circuit in the lower layer is connected through the piezoresistive layer in the upper layer, converting pressure into resistance. The output resistance decreases as pressure increases.
