TPOWER TP4056

TP4056 is a single-cell lithium-ion battery constant-current/constant-voltage linear charger. It uses an SOP8 package with a bottom heat sink pad and a simple external application circuit, making it suitable for portable device applications. Compatible with USB power supplies and adapter power sources, it features an internal reverse-charge protection circuit that eliminates the need for an external isolation diode. Thermal feedback automatically adjusts the charge current to limit the die temperature under high-power operation or elevated ambient temperature conditions. The TP4056 has a charge termination voltage of 4.2V, and the charge current is programmable via an external resistor. When the charge current drops to 1/10 of the set value, the TP4056 automatically terminates the charging process. When the input voltage is removed, the TP4056 automatically enters an ultra-low-power standby state, reducing the standby current to below 1uA. The TP4056 can also be placed in shutdown mode when input power is present, reducing the operating current to 40uA.
