It can provide system-level ESD protection for low-voltage I/O interfaces. The TPD1E10B06 is a single-channel ESD TVS diode that offers a small 0402 package suitable for space-constrained applications, as well as the industry-standard SOD-523 package. This TVS protection product provides ±30 kV contact ESD and ±30 kV IEC air-gap protection, and features an ESD clamping circuit with back-to-back TVS diodes to support bipolar or bidirectional signals. The 12 pF line capacitance of this ESD protection diode is suitable for various applications capable of supporting data transfer rates of up to 400 Mbps. Typical applications of this ESD protection product include serving as protection circuits for audio lines (microphones, headphones, and speakers), SD interfaces, keyboards or other buttons, VBUS and ID pins of USB ports, and general-purpose I/O ports. This ESD clamping circuit is suitable for protecting end devices such as portable devices, wearable devices, set-top boxes, electronic point-of-sale devices, appliances, and building automation products.
