Introduction
The device operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and draws a maximum supply current of 350μA. It features an operating temperature range of –40°C to +125°C and is available in a 10-pin VSSOP package. The INA381-Q1 is a zero-drift topology current-sense amplifier with an integrated comparator, suitable for low-side and high-side current sensing and protection applications. This purpose-built current-sense amplifier accurately measures the voltage developed across a current-sensing resistor (also known as a current-shunt resistor) at common-mode voltages far exceeding the device supply voltage. Current can be measured on input voltage rails up to 26V, while the device can be powered from supply voltages as low as 2.7V. When the supply voltage is removed, the device can also withstand a 26V common-mode voltage on the input pins without damage.
