Introduction
Littelfuse SH Series Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs) provide a high level of protection against fast-rising transients caused by lightning, with a 5kA, 8/20μs surge capability. The square SMT package enables easy PCB assembly. This GDT series is well suited for broadband equipment applications, as its low off-state capacitance is compatible with high-bandwidth applications, and the capacitive load value remains stable regardless of voltage across the GDT. The Littelfuse SH Series GDTs are designed to protect electrical, multimedia, and communications equipment from overvoltage transients in SMT applications.
