Introduction
Littelfuse SG series gas discharge tubes deliver high surge ratings in a miniature package. Designed for SMT on PCBs, they feature a compact 4.5×3.2×2.7mm footprint. Low insertion loss makes them ideal for broadband device applications. Their capacitance remains constant regardless of voltage, preventing operational issues in ADSL2+ applications where capacitance variation between Tip and Ring is undesirable. These devices are extremely robust, capable of diverting 1000A pulses without damage.
