Introduction
Littelfuse's Broadband Optimized™ SL0902A series delivers high surge ratings in a miniature package. Special design features provide a high level of protection against fast-rising transients in the 100V/μs to 1kV/μs range typically caused by lightning interference. Low insertion loss makes it ideal for broadband equipment applications. Capacitance does not vary with voltage, creating no operational issues for ADSL2+, as capacitance variation across Tip and Ring is detrimental. These devices are extremely robust, capable of transferring 2500A pulses without damage. For prolonged AC power line crosses, overcurrent protection is recommended. The Littelfuse CG5 MS miniature surge arrester is designed to provide overvoltage transient protection for electrical and communications equipment in SMT applications. This series uses non-radioactive components to deliver state-of-the-art protection.
