Introduction
The SL0902A series offers high surge ratings in a compact package. Its special design characteristics provide a high level of protection against fast transients with rise rates ranging from 100V/μs to 1kV/μs, typically caused by lightning strike interference. The extremely low insertion loss makes it ideal for broadband equipment applications. Its capacitance does not vary with voltage, preventing operational issues in ADSL2+ applications where capacitance variation between Tip and Ring is undesirable. These devices are extremely robust, capable of shunting 2500A pulses without damage. For prolonged AC power line crosstalk, overcurrent protection is recommended.
