The SL0902A series surge protectors feature miniature packaging with high surge ratings. Their special design characteristics provide a high level of protection against fast transients with rise times in the range of 100V/μs to 1kV/μs, typically caused by lightning interference. The low insertion loss characteristic makes them ideal for broadband equipment applications. The capacitance value does not vary with voltage, avoiding operational issues in ADSL2+ applications where capacitance variation between Tip and Ring lines is undesirable. These devices are extremely robust, capable of diverting 2500A pulses without damage. For prolonged AC power cross interference, overcurrent protection is recommended. The CG5 MS series miniature surge discharge tubes are designed to protect electrical and communication equipment in SMT applications from overvoltage transients. This series uses non-radioactive components, offering state-of-the-art protection.
