TMUX7208 is an 8:1 precision single-channel multiplexer; TMUX7209 is a 4:1 dual-channel multiplexer with low on-resistance and charge injection. The device operates from a single supply (4.5V to 44V), dual supply (±4.5V to ±22V), or asymmetric supply (e.g., VDD = 12V, VSS = –5V). The TMUX720x supports bidirectional analog and digital signals ranging from VSS to VDD on the source (Sx) and drain (D) pins.
The TMUX720x is a family of precision switches and multiplexers featuring very low on- and off-state leakage current, making them suitable for high-accuracy measurement applications. The TMUX72xx family offers latch-up immunity to prevent high-current fault events typically caused by overvoltage conditions between parasitic structures within the device. A latch-up condition typically persists until the supply rail is powered down and can result in device failure. Latch-up immunity enables TMUX72xx family switches and multiplexers to be used in harsh environments.
