Suitable for instrumentation, consumer electronics, communications equipment, and power equipment. Through process improvements, high-power thick-film resistors can handle greater power than standard thick-film resistors of the same size, enabling better space savings while also improving pulse load capability. Replacing a standard thick-film resistor with a high-power thick-film resistor of the same size provides greater derating margin, contributing to improved long-term stability and enhanced reliability.
