Introduction
The AOZ5017QI is a high-efficiency synchronous buck power stage module integrating two asymmetric MOSFETs and a driver. The MOSFETs are individually optimized for synchronous buck configuration. The high-side MOSFET is optimized for low capacitance and low gate charge, suitable for fast switching and low duty cycle operation. The low-side MOSFET features ultra-low on-resistance to minimize conduction losses. The module accepts PWM input for precise control of power MOSFET switching activity, compatible with 5V CMOS logic levels and supporting tri-state PWM input. The module integrates multiple features including a built-in bootstrap diode. The low-side MOSFET can be driven into diode emulation mode to enable asynchronous operation and improve light-load performance. The pin layout is also optimized to minimize parasitic effects.
