Introduction
The SJxx10xx high-temperature SCR series is ideal for unidirectional switching applications such as phase control, heating, motor speed control, converters/rectifiers, and capacitor discharge ignition. These SCRs feature maximum low gate current trigger levels of 6mA or 15mA at approximately 1.5V. The sensitive versions in this series have gate trigger currents below 200μA. The sensitive gate SCR versions are easily triggered by inductive coils, proximity switches, and microprocessors.
