The ARS19510LUB integrates an advanced Hall-effect circuit IC and EMC protection components into a single plastic package. This optimized, user-friendly solution provides direction detection and true zero-speed digital gear tooth sensing for challenging environments such as automotive and industrial transmissions and various gear tooth sensing applications. The IC's patented advanced algorithm enables compliance with the most stringent automotive EMI requirements, tolerance of the full range of sudden and dynamic air gap variations, and vibration suppression capability. Target speed and direction are communicated via a variable pulse-width output protocol. The ARS19510 excels at handling vibration without sacrificing maximum air gap capability or generating false "direction" pulses. The advanced vibration detection algorithm performs systematic calibration of the sensor IC on the first tooth of true target rotation rather than on vibration, ensuring accurate operating mode signals. The advanced package combined with innovative algorithms makes the ARS19510 an ideal solution for a wide range of speed and direction sensing needs. The device is available in a lead-free 2-pin SIP package with tin-plated lead frame.
