Introduction
MF72 Power NTC Thermistor: To effectively suppress the inrush current generated at the moment of power-on in electronic circuits, connecting a power-type NTC thermistor in series in the power supply circuit can effectively suppress the inrush current at startup. After completing its inrush current suppression function, due to the sustained flow of current through it, the resistance of the power-type NTC thermistor will drop to a very low level, and the power consumed by it becomes negligible. Therefore, connecting a power-type NTC thermistor in series in the power supply circuit is the simplest and most effective measure to suppress inrush current at startup and protect electronic equipment from damage. MF72 is the national standard model designation for power-type NTC thermistors. The MF72 Power NTC Thermistor provide inrush current suppression for sensitive electronics. Connecting a NTC Thermistor in series with the power source will limit the current surges typically created at turn on. Once the circuit is energized the resistance of the NTC thermistor will decrease rapidly to a very low value, power consumption can be ignored and there will be no effect on normal operating current.
