MACOM MA46H204-1056

MACOM offers three series of low-cost surface-mount GaAs tuning varactor diodes. All series feature silicon nitride-passivated junctions for low leakage current and high reliability.

The MA46H070 to MA46H073 series features hyperabrupt junctions with a gamma constant of 0.75 over 0 to 20 volts, providing very high Q factors approaching those of abrupt-junction varactors but with greater capacitance variation versus tuning voltage. These diodes are ideal for narrow-bandwidth VCOs and VTFs requiring wide tuning range and very high Q factors.

The MA46H200 to MA46H204 series features hyperabrupt junctions with a gamma constant of 1.25 over 2 to 20 volts, offering the highest capacitance ratio and high Q factor in the GaAs varactor diode family. These diodes are ideal for wide-bandwidth VCOs and VTFs requiring the best combination of extremely wide tuning range and high Q factor.

The MA46H500 to MA46H504 series features hyperabrupt junctions with a gamma constant of 1.5 over 2 to 12 volts, with high Q factor. Designed for wide-bandwidth VCOs and VTFs with limited bias voltage. The Q factor of these varactors is lower than that of other GaAs varactor diode series.
