Introduction
CMT812X is a high-performance dual-channel digital isolator featuring a silicon dioxide insulating barrier, supporting isolation voltages up to 5 kVrms. The device enables communication between two different power domains to prevent noise currents on data buses or other circuits from entering the local ground, thereby avoiding interference with or damage to sensitive circuits. This product family offers two channels, where CMT812X1 defaults to a high output state and CMT812X0 defaults to a low output state. It achieves high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions at low power consumption. Through innovative IC design and layout, EMC performance is significantly enhanced to meet system-level compliance requirements for ESD, EFT, surge, and radiated emissions. The product family is available in SOIC-16 wide-body, SOW8L wide-body, and SOIC-8 narrow-body packages.
