The MPL115A1S is a pressure sensor with digital SPI output designed for cost-sensitive applications. Its compact 5×3×1.2 mm LGA package is ideal for space-constrained portable electronics. Current consumption is as low as 5μA in active mode and 1μA in shutdown (sleep) mode, making it well-suited for low-power applications. The wide operating temperature range of -40℃ to +105℃ enables reliable operation in harsh environmental conditions. The MPL115A1S employs a MEMS pressure sensor with a signal conditioning IC, delivering accurate pressure measurements from 50 kPa to 115 kPa. An integrated ADC converts pressure and temperature sensor readings into digital output via the SPI port. Factory calibration data is stored in on-board ROM. The host microcontroller uses raw sensor output and calibration data to execute a compensation algorithm, providing compensated pressure accuracy of ±1 kPa.
