Introduction
The TCAN114x-Q1 is a family of enhanced high-speed CAN FD transceivers supporting data rates up to 5 Mbps. These devices are configured via SPI to enable full feature support. By applying an appropriate voltage to the V₁₀ pin, the TCAN114x-Q1 supports processor IO nominal voltages from 1.8V to 5V, enabling the use of low-power processors. The TCAN1145-Q1 and TCAN1146-Q1 transceivers support selective wake functionality (wake-up based on WUF frames). This feature enables system partitioning into local networks, allowing operation with fewer active nodes while the remaining nodes remain in a low-power sleep mode. The transceiver and selective wake functionality comply with the ISO 11898-2:2016 standard. The TCAN1144-Q1 and TCAN1146-Q1 are full-featured devices with watchdog and advanced bus diagnostic capabilities. For debugging purposes, advanced bus fault diagnosis and communication features can be used to identify specific bus faults. The TCAN114x-Q1 is a register-compatible family of enhanced high-speed CAN FD transceivers, giving system designers the flexibility to achieve desired functionality with minimal software changes and no hardware modifications. The TCAN1144-Q1 and TCAN1146-Q1 inhibit (INH) pin can be used to enable node power supplies, or configured as a limp-home pin activated upon watchdog fault.
