TI TMS320AV420PH

The TMS320AV420 is a video encoder that uses digital signal processing technology to convert RGB or YUV pixels into analog S-Video signals. Pixels are input to the 'AV420 via a 13.5 MHz clock. S-Video is output from the 'AV420 through two independent RS170A-compatible analog channels: the luminance (Y) channel and the chrominance (C) channel. The 'AV420 can operate in either interlaced or non-interlaced mode. Internal and external sync capabilities, vertical line interpolation, on-screen display, and direct interface features deliver the video quality of the 'AV420 while simplifying video system design.
