TFBS4711 is an infrared transceiver that supports data rate s up to 115 kbit/s per the IrDA standard. The link distance i s up to 1 meter. The transceiver includes a PIN photodiode , an infrared emitter, and a low power control IC. Thes e components have not been qualified according t o automotive specifications.
