ProSense FC-H2-5000

The FC-H2-5000 long-life hydrogen sensor operates on the principle of a micro fuel cell. When hydrogen is present in the environment, gas molecules rapidly reach the core detection unit of the sensor via natural diffusion and concentration polarization. An oxidation reaction occurs at the positive electrode, while a reduction reaction of ambient oxygen takes place at the negative electrode, forming a closed-loop reaction. The resulting current is proportional to the hydrogen concentration, enabling accurate quantification of hydrogen content by measuring the current magnitude. This sensor is a passive device, offering the advantages of zero power consumption, low noise, high detection accuracy, long service life, interference resistance, poison resistance, and wide temperature range.
