Introduction
The LMT70 is an ultra-small, high-accuracy, low-power CMOS analog temperature sensor with an output enable pin. The LMT70 is suitable for virtually all high-accuracy, low-power, cost-effective temperature sensing applications, such as IoT sensor nodes, medical thermometers, high-precision instrumentation, and battery-powered devices. The LMT70 is also an ideal replacement for RTDs and high-accuracy NTC/PTC thermistors. Multiple LMT70 devices can share a single ADC channel using the output enable pin, simplifying the ADC calibration process and reducing the overall cost of precision temperature sensing systems. The LMT70 also features a linear, low-impedance output for seamless interfacing with off-the-shelf MCU/ADC solutions. With thermal dissipation below 36μW, the LMT70's ultra-low self-heating characteristic enables high accuracy across a wide temperature range. The LMT70A offers excellent temperature matching performance, with a maximum temperature difference of 0.1℃ between two adjacent LMT70A devices taken from the same reel. This makes the LMT70A an ideal solution for energy metering applications that require heat transfer calculation.
