Ai-Thinker ESP-S3-12K(8MB PSRAM)

ESP-S3-12K is a Wi-Fi+BLE module. The core processor of this module, ESP32-S3, is a highly integrated, low-power Wi-Fi and Bluetooth SoC designed for IoT, mobile devices, wearable electronics, smart home, and various other applications.

The ESP32-S3 features low-power and RF performance, supporting WiFi IEEE802.11b/g/n protocol and Bluetooth 5. The chip integrates an Xtensa-R32-bit LX7 dual-core processor operating at up to 240 MHz. It supports secondary development without requiring additional microcontrollers or processors. The chip includes 512 KB SRAM, 384 KB ROM, and 16 KB RTC SRAM. It supports multiple low-power operating states to meet the power consumption requirements of various application scenarios. The chip's fine-grained clock gating, dynamic voltage and clock frequency scaling, and adjustable RF output power enable an optimal balance among communication range, data rate, and power consumption.

The ESP-S3-12K module offers a rich set of peripheral interfaces, including UART, PWM, SPI, I2S, I2C, ADC, LCD, DVP, RMT (TX/RX), pulse counter, USB OTG, USB Serial/JTAG, SDIO, DMA controller, TWAI controller, temperature sensor, capacitive sensor, and up to 38 GPIO pins.

The ESP-S3-12K module incorporates multiple hardware security mechanisms. The hardware cryptographic accelerator supports AES, SHA, and RSA algorithms. The RNG, HMAC, and Digital Signature modules provide additional security capabilities. Other security features include Flash encryption and secure boot signature verification. These comprehensive security mechanisms make the chip well-suited for a wide range of encryption-sensitive applications.

The ESP-S3-12K module supports low-power Bluetooth: Bluetooth 5 and Bluetooth mesh. Supported Bluetooth data rates: 125 Kbps, 500 Kbps, 1 Mbps, and 2 Mbps. Supports advertising extensions, multiple advertising, and channel selection.
