Introduction
ZYL2271 is a dual-channel, 16-bit, 20MSPS low-noise ADC designed for data acquisition and communication applications requiring high performance, low noise, low cost, small form factor, and versatility. The dual-channel ADC core employs a differential, multi-stage pipeline architecture with integrated output error correction logic and an on-chip voltage reference, while also supporting an external reference as the ADC reference voltage. ADC output data can be routed directly to two external serial LVDS interfaces; each channel is configurable for 1-bit or 2-bit per output cycle, with compatibility for serial CMOS output (not released) to minimize power consumption and meet the low-power demands of portable devices. Configuration and control programming is accomplished via a 4-wire SPI-compatible serial interface. The ZYL2271 is available in a 52-pin QFN package and is rated for the -40°C to 85°C industrial temperature range.
