AT2402E is a single-chip RF front-end integrating transceiver functions for wireless communications. The chip integrates all required RF circuit modules at a very high level of integration, including a PA, LNA, and TX/RX mode switching control circuit. A simple low-voltage control logic circuit is integrated on-chip, enabling the chip's operating mode to be controlled using the lower baseband voltage available within the host system. RF impedance matching circuits for the antenna port, TX port, and RX port are built into the chip, eliminating the need to redesign the peripheral impedance matching network. Necessary harmonic filtering circuits are also integrated on-chip, removing the need for complex external filters, which greatly reduces application solution complexity and improves chip performance. In addition, the chip integrates a power detection circuit that accurately tracks output power variations and outputs a corresponding voltage signal.

AT2402E is primarily designed for wireless communication systems operating at 2.4GHz and compliant with the 802.11b/g/n/ac protocol. Implemented in CMOS process technology, AT2402E achieves very low cost while delivering excellent RF performance — including high power gain, TX linearity, and TX efficiency in transmit mode, as well as an extremely low noise figure in receive mode. Thanks to the outstanding cost-performance ratio of AT2402E, the chip provides an ideal RF transceiver front-end solution for single-antenna wireless communication applications.
