Introduction
The OPA2626 operational amplifier is a driver for 16-bit and 18-bit, high-precision successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), featuring low total harmonic distortion (THD) and low noise. This operational amplifier has a 16-bit settling time of 280 ns under rated operating conditions and can provide a true 16-bit effective number of bits (ENOB). The device offers high DC accuracy (with an offset voltage of only 100 μV), a wide gain-bandwidth product of 120 MHz, and low broadband noise of 2.5 nV/√Hz. It is optimized to drive high-throughput, high-resolution SAR ADCs in applications such as the ADS88xx series of SAR ADCs. The OPA2626 comes in an 8-pin VSSOP package and is rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
