The NS4150C is an ultra-low EMI, filterless 3W mono Class-D audio power amplifier. Operating from a 5V supply, it delivers 3W into a 4Ω load with up to 90% efficiency. The NS4150C employs advanced technology to significantly reduce EMI across the full bandwidth, minimizing interference with other components. The filterless PWM modulation architecture and built-in gain of the NS4150C reduce external component count, PCB area, and system cost, while spread-spectrum technology fully optimizes the new circuit design. The device integrates overcurrent protection, over-temperature protection, and undervoltage protection, which shut down the device under abnormal operating conditions to prevent damage. Once the fault condition is removed, the NS4150C automatically resumes normal operation. The NS4150C adopts a filterless PWM modulation scheme that eliminates the LC output filter required by traditional Class-D amplifiers, improving efficiency and providing a smaller footprint, lower-cost solution. The NS4150C integrates power-on and power-off pop suppression circuitry, effectively eliminating transient noise that may occur during power-up, power-down, wake-up, and shutdown operations. The NS4150C incorporates enhanced EMI technology. Advanced techniques are employed to significantly reduce EMI across the full bandwidth, minimizing impact on other components. The NS4150C leverages spread-spectrum technology to fully optimize the Class-D amplifier circuit design for improved efficiency. Peak efficiency of up to 88% makes it well suited for portable audio applications. The NS4150C is offered in an SOP8 package with a rated operating temperature range of -40℃ to 85℃.
