The LMH1219 is a low-power dual-input dual-output adaptive equalizer with integrated clock recovery. The device supports SMPTE video rates up to 11.88 Gbps and IP transport-based 10GbE video, enabling applications from 4K/8K UHD to RTN. The long-reach adaptive cable equalizer on IN0 is designed to equalize data transmitted over 75Ω coaxial cable, operating across a wide range of data rates from 125 Mbps to 11.88 Gbps. The adaptive board trace equalizer on IN1 is SFF-8431 compliant and supports both SMPTE and 10GbE data rates. The integrated clock recovery attenuates high-frequency jitter and delivers excellent signal integrity. The device's high input jitter tolerance improves timing margin. The clock recovery features a built-in loop filter, requiring no precision input reference clock during operation. A non-destructive eye monitor supports real-time serial data measurement, simplifying system debug and accelerating board bring-up. With integrated 2:1 multiplexing and 1:2 fanout circuitry, the device offers flexible output of multiple video signals. The output driver provides programmable de-emphasis to compensate for board trace losses at its output. The integrated return loss network meets stringent SMPTE specifications across all data rates. Typical power consumption of the LMH1219 is 250 mW, which further reduces to 16 mW in the absence of an input signal. The LMH1219 is pin-compatible with the LMH1226 (12G UHD clock recovery) and LMH0324 (3G adaptive cable equalizer).
