The SN65MLVD206B is a multipoint low-voltage differential signaling (MLVDS) line driver and receiver optimized to operate at signaling rates up to 200 Mbps. The device features robust 3.3V drivers and receivers in a standard SOIC package, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications. The bus pins are ESD-protected with advanced protection against human body model and IEC contact discharge specifications.
The device contains one differential driver and one differential receiver (transceiver), powered by a 3.3V supply. The transceiver is optimized to operate at signaling rates up to 200 Mbps.
The SN65MLVD206B offers enhanced features over comparable devices. These enhancements include controlled slew rate at the driver outputs, which helps minimize reflections from unterminated stubs, thereby improving signal integrity. The same footprint is retained for easy drop-in replacement to help improve system performance. These devices are rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
