Introduction
The OPA855-Q1 is a wideband, low-noise op amp with bipolar inputs, designed for wideband transimpedance and voltage amplifier applications. When configured as a transimpedance amplifier (TIA), its 8GHz gain bandwidth product (GBWP) enables high closed-loop bandwidth at transimpedance gains of up to tens of kilohms.
The OPA855-Q1 is optimized for optical time-of-flight (ToF) systems, where it works in conjunction with time-to-digital converters such as the TDC7201. The OPA855-Q1 can also be used in high-resolution LiDAR systems with differential output amplifiers such as the THS4541-Q1 to drive high-speed ADCs.
