Introduction
The SN74LVC126A is a quadruple bus buffer gate designed to operate over a VCC range of 1.65V to 3.6V. The SN74LVC126A features individual line drivers with 3-state outputs. When the associated output-enable (OE) input is low, the output is disabled. To ensure high-impedance state during power up and power down, OE must be connected to GND through a pulldown resistor; the minimum value of this resistor is determined by the current-sourcing capability of the driver. Inputs can be driven from 3.3V or 5V devices. This feature allows the device to be used as a translator in mixed 3.3V and 5V systems.
