Introduction
LM75B is a fully integrated digital temperature sensor featuring a built-in 12-bit ADC, capable of operating at 1.8V supply voltage, with pin and register compatibility with mainstream x75 series devices. The sensor measures temperature without any external components. Its on-chip 12-bit ADC provides resolution as low as 0.0625°C. Each device is individually calibrated prior to shipment, ensuring ±1°C (maximum) accuracy over a -55°C to +125°C range, eliminating the need for any additional user calibration of the temperature output. The LM75B supports SMBus and I²C interfaces at speeds up to 1MHz (2.3MHz in high-speed mode) and allows up to eight devices to be connected on the same bus. Its programmable temperature limits and ALT pin enable the sensor to operate as a standalone thermostat.
