Introduction
IP2326 is a 2-cell/3-cell series lithium battery boost charging IC supporting 15W fast charging. With integrated power MOSFETs and a synchronous switching architecture, it requires minimal external components, effectively reducing overall solution size and BOM cost.
The boost switching charge converter operates at 500KHz; maximum 15W input charging, with 94% conversion efficiency at 5V input/8V/1A output and 92% at 8V/1.5A output.
Features input voltage limiting to intelligently regulate charging current and adaptively match adapter load capability.
Supports external pin selection for 2-cell or 3-cell lithium battery charging configuration; capable of requesting fast charging input based on current battery voltage to improve charging efficiency and reduce charging time.
Integrated 2-cell charge balancing circuit monitors individual cell voltage during charging to ensure voltage balance between the 2 cells.
Integrated NTC protection function enables charging NTC protection in conjunction with an NTC resistor.
Available in 4×4mm QFN24 package.
