OMRON K7L-U

The K7L Series Liquid Leakage Sensor Amplifiers are reliable and sensitive liquid sensors capable of stably detecting low-conductivity liquid chemicals and water leakage. The series includes new models compatible with Push-In Plus terminal block sockets, with UL certification when used with Push-In Plus terminal block sockets. The sensors feature wire-break detection (K7L-AT50D□/-UD□), models supporting long-distance wiring up to 400 meters, and offer strip electrodes and spot sensors. They reliably detect a wide range of liquids from water to low-conductivity liquid chemicals, with four selectable sensing ranges. Using electrode resistance detection, they stably detect liquids with impedance up to 50MΩ, including isopropyl alcohol and pure water. Noise immunity is enhanced through a noise-canceling circuit connected via a 3-wire cable; AC detection prevents electrode corrosion; and power supply circuit isolation from the detection circuit allows multiple amplifiers to be installed at the same location. The series also includes explosion-proof barriers (sold separately) for use in hazardous environments, and carries CE marking as well as UL/CSA certification.

• Noise canceller function (patent pending): Noise canceller circuit using 3-core cable, ensuring high level of noise immunity.
• Multi-channel applications: Isolation between power supply circuit and sensing circuit allows installation of multiple channels at the same location.
• Sensing band with excellent chemical resistance: SUS316 and polyethylene core and sheath construction ensures high resistance to both acidic and alkaline liquids.
