GATEMODE GM3085E

GM3085E is a high-speed transceiver with ±15kV ESD protection for RS-485/RS-422 communications, integrating one driver and one receiver. The device features a fail-safe circuit that guarantees a logic-high receiver output when the receiver inputs are open or shorted. This means that if all transmitters connected to the bus are disabled (high-impedance state), the receiver output will be logic high. The GM3085E incorporates a slew-rate-limited driver to minimize EMI and reduce signal reflections caused by improper cable termination, enabling error-free data transmission at up to 1Mbps. In addition, the GM3085E receiver features 1/8 unit load input impedance, allowing up to 256 transceivers to be connected in parallel on the bus.
