TI TPS23525PWR

TPS23525 is an integrated hot-swap dual OR-ing controller that enables high-power telecommunications systems to meet stringent transient requirements. The device has an absolute maximum rating of 200V, so it can easily pass the lightning surge test (IEC61000-4-5). With the soft-start capacitor disconnect function, smaller hot-swap FETs can be used by limiting the inrush current without affecting the transient response. The 400μA pull current supports fast recovery and helps avoid system resets during lightning surge tests. With the dual current limiting function, the power-down and input step requirements specified by standards such as ATIS 0600315.2013 can be easily met. Finally, the device also provides accurate undervoltage and overvoltage protection with programmable thresholds and hysteresis.

TPS23525 integrates a dual OR-ing controller, making it ideal for –48V systems powered by two redundant power supplies.
