TI TUSB522PIRGER

The TUSB522P is a 4th-generation dual simplex channel USB 3.1 GEN 1 redriver and signal conditioner supporting 5 Gbps data transfer rates. The device features an ultra-low power architecture with very low power consumption when operating from a 3.3V supply. The redriver also supports USB 3.1 low-power modes to further reduce power consumption in idle states. The dual-channel capability enables the system to maintain signal integrity across both transmit and receive data paths. Receiver equalization offers three gain settings to overcome channel degradation caused by insertion loss and inter-symbol interference (ISI). These settings are controlled via the EQ pin. To compensate for transmission line losses, the output driver also supports de-emphasis configuration using the DE pin. Additionally, automatic LFPS de-emphasis control helps achieve full USB 3.1 compliance. These settings enable the TUSB522P in USB 3.1 Gen 1 paths to achieve optimal performance while extending signal reach and enabling flexible placement.
