Introduction
The SN74CBTLV3384 provides ten high-speed bus switch bits. The low on-resistance of the switch allows for minimal propagation delay when connected. The device is organized as a dual 5-bit bus switch with independent output enable (OE) inputs. It can be used as two 5-bit bus switches or one 10-bit bus switch. When OE is low, the corresponding 5-bit bus switch closes, connecting port A to port B. When OE is high, the switch opens, and there is a high-impedance state between the two ports. The device fully supports partial power-down applications using Ioff. The Ioff feature ensures that no damaging reverse current flows through the device when it is powered down. The device has isolation functionality when powered down. To ensure a high-impedance state during power-up or power-down, OE should be connected to Vcc through a pull-up resistor; the minimum value of the resistor is determined by the current-sinking capability of the driver.
