Introduction
TUSB214-Q1 is a USB high-speed (HS) signal conditioner designed to compensate for ISI signal loss in the transmission channel. TUSB214-Q1 features a patent-pending design that is transparent to USB low-speed (LS) and full-speed (FS) signals. LS and FS signal characteristics are unaffected by TUSB214-Q1, while the device provides compensation for HS signals. Programmable AC boost and DC boost allow fine-tuning of device performance to optimize high-speed signals at the connector, helping to pass USB HS electrical compliance testing. In addition, TUSB214-Q1 complies with USB On-The-Go (OTG) and Battery Charging (BC) specifications. TUSB214-Q1 includes a BC1.2 Charging Downstream Port (CDP) controller for applications where the USB host or hub does not support these protocols.
