The MUX36S08 and MUX36D04 (MUX36xxx) are modern CMOS analog multiplexers (mux). The MUX36S08 offers an 8:1 single-ended channel, while the MUX36D04 provides a differential 4:1 or dual 4:1 single-ended channel. The MUX36S08 and MUX36D04 operate from dual supplies (±5V to ±18V) or single supplies (10V to 36V). They also guarantee excellent performance when powered by symmetric supplies (e.g., VDD=12V, VSS=-12V) and asymmetric supplies (e.g., VDD=12V, VSS=-5V). All digital inputs feature TTL-compatible thresholds. Within the valid supply voltage range, this threshold ensures compatibility with both TTL and CMOS logic. The MUX36S08 and MUX36D04 have low on- and off-state leakage currents, allowing these multiplexers to switch signals from high-impedance sources with minimal error. A low supply current of only 45μA supports use in portable applications.
