The TS3A27518E-Q1 is a 6-bit, 2-to-1 multiplexer/demultiplexer designed to operate at supply voltages from 1.65V to 3.6V. This device can handle both digital and analog signals, and allows signal transmission up to V+ in either direction. The TS3A27518E-Q1 features two control pins, each simultaneously controlling three 2-to-1 multiplexers, and an enable pin that places all outputs into high-impedance mode. The control pins are compatible with 1.8V logic thresholds and are also backward compatible with 2.5V and 3.3V thresholds. Since the SDIO interface contains 6-bit signals — CMD, CLK, and Data[0:3] — the TS3A27518E-Q1 allows SD, SDIO, and multimedia card host controllers to expand to multiple cards or peripherals. The TS3A27518E-Q1's two control pins provide users with additional flexibility, such as multiplexing different audio/video signals between two devices (e.g., LCD TVs, LCD monitors, or laptop docking stations).
