Introduction
AM26LS31CN - The E-series devices are quad complementary-output line drivers that meet the requirements of ANSI TIA/EIA-422-B and ITU (formerly CCITT) Recommendation V.11. The three-state outputs provide high-current drive capability for balanced lines such as twisted-pair or parallel-wire transmission lines, and enter a high-impedance state when power is off. All four drivers feature an enable function with two selectable input options: active-high enable and active-low enable (G, G) inputs. The low-power Schottky circuit reduces power consumption without sacrificing speed.
